What is this place?
Alaskan Sun is an adoptables site. You will find images that you
'adopt' and can display on forums or websites.
Where are the adopts?
You have to find them. Click on 'World' and take a look at the
map. Run your mouse over it and look for a clickable spot. There
are multiple spots to click, some may be big or small. Explore
the world and find our adopts.
How do I get an account?
Go

Do the adopts grow? When will they grow?
Not all adoptables grow, but those will clearly be full-grown
when you adopt them. All adopts grow over time, there is no set
time. Just be patient and watch them. Some will grow faster then
others.
How do I know when new adopts have been added? When do new
pets come out?
There is no set schedule for when adoptables are released. Take
a look at the news page for the latest world headlines. They'll
let you know when a new adopt has been spotted.
How do I get them?
There are two ways to get the adopts:
First there is a code beneath the image. You need to copy it. Make
sure you keep your code, once the adopt is taken down, the code
will no longer be available.
Second, you can also adopt the pets to your account and keep
track of them that way.
You can do either, you don't have to do both unless you want to.
Where do I put them?
Go to the
forums and start
up your own thread in the 'Alaskan Sun Adopts' section. You can
share and view your adoptables there.
Do I have to click my pet to make it grow?
No, pets will grow on their own over time. If your pet is on
an account, you will see a lot of refrences to clicks, just
ignore them.
Can I make Alaskan Sun adoptables?
We have plenty of artists and are currently not looking for any
more. So no, you cannot.
Where can I get the adopts in the bestiary (archive)?
Once a adopt shows up in the archive, it is no longer available
for adoption.
Can I breed them?
No, you cannot breed your pets. 2nd gens can however be released
by the artists, if they wish to do so.
Are there items?
Yes. Try visiting a town shop. You can also find some items
lying about the ground. Keep an eye peeled.
How do I add the items to my pet?
You cannot put the item on the image. However you can display it
next to your pet.
Can I get a custom pet?
They can be rewards for contests or given to contributors who
help out on the forums a great deal. Bugging an artist for a
custom is the worst way to try and get one.
